Now world famous, Silicon Valley is home to a host of cities including San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Milpitas and Fremont. Here the Santa Cruz Mountains create a natural border on the western edge of the Silicon Valley. Note the color variations in the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay revealing the different levels of evaporation from a satellite perspective.
